Jazz is usually considered as the ‘classical music of America’. All over the history of Jazz music, the strong rhythmic style, solos, call-response rule and blue notes are such characteristics which have struggled together to give an independent and creative style to jazz. Many famous Jazz musicians like Billie Holiday, John Coltrane, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker and Miles Davis have not even inspired the other modernistic musicians but have also changed the choices of modern music lovers with their appreciable music. This is the art which is forever changing.

Now, where does the Jazz music come from? By the American African communities in the South of United States, Jazz music was initiated in the late 19th century. Jazz music has the language, which is some time cozy, sometime robustious also but it is always covered with the feeling of lively lived life.

It was basically rooted by Africans since 1880s. It is the mixture of many kinds of music. Jazz music is mainly comprised of the mixture of the African elements with the western European music elements
Jazz is the kind of music which cannot be read in books, can’t be found on internet or on any other platform. It can only be created by your inner self. The different styles of Jazz include Traditional, swing, Bop, Dixieland and Latin. The varieties in Jazz are increasing day by day, today Acid Jazz is added to the list of styles of Jazz music, it is the recent one.

Jazz has that attractive and influential mixture of rhythm and tunes and beats that Jazz music will never fail and will not come to an end. It rewards the individual expression but demands selfless collaboration.

Jazz music is about finding a living, losing everything and finding love. It has enjoyed huge popularity, it has also survived the hardship of the time. Jazz music is believed to wash away the dust of everyday life. Above all it swings. Jazz music celebrates life, it celebrates humanity.

Jazz music is not despondent of one particular way of playing it, it involves individuality in it. It doesn’t matter how anybody else play it. It’s how YOU play it.
